Pulp give away 'After You' track as Christmas present to fans

Pulp have unveiled a new track, 'After You', produced by LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy on SoundCloud.

The track was first demoed by the band during the sessions for their 2001 album 'We Love Life', but this version is a new studio recording.

Pitchfork state that the band recorded this version last month (November 2012) before finishing it off with Murphy this month (December 2012).

Pulp played the Coachella Cruise which set sail from December 16 to December 23. Sets by James Murphy were also part of the festival (see photo below).

Prior to that, Pulp played a homecoming show on December 8 at Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena.

The audience at that show were all handed a Christmas card with the following message:"We got you a little present but you can't open it til Xmas day, OK? If you enter this code into a computer anytime after midnight on Xmas Eve you will get a nice surprise - but no peeking before then! That would be naughty."
