‘FunkFest’ grooving into Hull on the 8th and 9th of December 2015!

Purple Worm Records has officially announced an all-new live music event.

The event will be held over two nights at the exceptionally popular ‘Kardomah 94’ and will feature covers of some of the greatest Funk and Soul songs from the Golden era.

Are you wanting to ‘Get Up’ like James Brown? Or willing to ‘Get Down On It’ like Kool and The Gang? If so, then this musical experience is certainly for you!

This unique event features live Funk/Soul music performed by 6 live bands and DJs, consisting of talented local musicians promoted by Purple Worm Records in partnership with Hull College, Stax Music Academy, Press Party and MTV.

Both shows will be recorded live and featured on the Purple Worm Hour on WH 106.9FM on Friday @10pm.

16+ event, ID required for 18+ wristbands to enable you to buy alcohol.
