Pussycat Dolls star hits back at Nicole Scherzinger

Pussycat Doll Kaya Jones has criticised former bandmate Nicole Scherzinger for claiming that she did most of the band's work.

The X Factor UK judge recently went on record to say that she did about "95%" of the work on their 2005 debut album 'PCD'.

Scherzinger left the pop group in 2010 to initiate her solo career and ultimately begin life as an X Factor star.

Speaking to TMZ, former bandmate Kaya Jones, however, said that Scherzinger was always looking to be in the limelight and affirmed that the rest of the band were talented. She said:

"Nicole was always someone who wanted to be in the spotlight and would do pretty much anything to get it."

She added: "To call the other girls in the Pussycat Dolls 'window dressings' is a bit farfetched...every girl in the group was talented."
