QOTSA's Josh Homme argues with his daughter about One Direction

Josh Homme, the frontman for Queens Of The Stone Age, has revealed that boyband One Direction are the cause of many little arguments in his house.

During a new interview with Zane Lowe in the finale of Relentless Ultra Presents Soundchain on MTV, the rocker admitted that he often finds himself bickering with his 8-year-old daughter while driving her to school because she always wants to listen to One Direction in the car:

“I try to shy away from One Direction because I have to drive the car too – 'Do you want it to go over a cliff or do you want it to go to school? You decide, you’re eight.'"

The full interview is due to be screened on on MTV Music later this month on September 28 at 9.30pm, and Homme also talks about his relationship with Dave Grohl along with the situation with his former band Kyuss.
