Family of Trumpton creator accuses Radiohead of copyright breach

The family of Trumpton creator Gordon Murray believe Radiohead's recent 'Burn The Witch' video has breached copyright laws.

Murray's son-in-law William Mollett told NME that the family are considering their legal options after apparent similarities between the video and the British children's show.

He said: "Radiohead should have sought our consent. We consider this a tarnishing of the brand.

"We consider that there is a breach of copyright and we are deciding what to do next."

The promo clip is influenced by the stop-motion show, which launched in the 1960s.

William Mollett added that his father would be "appalled" by the video.
