Rebecca Black doubts her new single will blow up like 'Friday'

Viral sensation Rebecca Black doesn't think that her new single, 'My Moment', will be as popular as the song that put her on the map despite being personally tailored for her.

The young star has released 'My Moment' as a follow up offering to her debut, 'Friday', and it will act as the lead single to be taken from her five-track EP, which will be officially available next month. Speaking to MTV News, Black explained:

"It's crazy to think [about Friday]. I was really nervous about My Moment coming out because I thought, 'I don't think I'll be able to even beat Friday myself'"

"Friday was so big: I feel like it'll be hard to break the Friday record."

Unlike 'Friday', she added that this new track was written for her and the subject matter reflects her personal struggle in the spotlight:

"The song was written for me. And it really fit what was going on and all of the bully and hate topic is in right now with songs, and so it fit that as well. It's a very inspiring song."

"Again, I wanted people to able to take me seriously because I felt like this would be the right thing to do."
