Ricky Martin says his favourite cover of 'Livin' La Vida Loca' is Shrek 2's version of the hit song.

The singer released the tune in 1999 and it topped charts across the world.

It has been heavily covered, but Martin told the Daily Express his top version of the single is actually on a Shrek film.

He said: "Shrek 2 with Antonio Banderas is my favourite. We’re friends, we’ve talked about it and it was fun for him to record it. 

“It’s funny, just the other day I was watching it with my kids and they go, ‘Daddy, that is your song! What? But that’s not your voice!’

“It was a special moment. But that’s what music is about, to keep it alive.”
