Rizzle Kicks happy to count David Beckham as a fan

British rap-pop duo Rizzle Kicks have admitted they were happy to find out that footballer David Beckham is a fan of their music.

One half of the ‘Lost Generation’ twosome, Jordan Stephens, told BANG Showbiz that: “David Beckham is really nice, a really lovely guy.”

Stephens also explained how the band met the sporting superstar: “We met him at a boxer brief launch. He was nice; he said he listens to our music. We said, ‘We're Rizzle Kicks’ and he said, ‘Yeah yeah, I know you boys.’ I was like, ‘Cheers David.’”

During the course of the interview Jordan also revealed that cracking America is not of vital importance to Rizzle Kicks.

Jordan stated: “I just feel like we'd need to make a huge imprint here and follow it over to America. I would love to be big in American but it's just a lot of time and effort. It's not a necessity for us to break America.”

He continued: “I don't want to live in America. It's very different from London.”

Rizzle Kicks are set to release their second album ‘Roaring 20s’ tomorrow (September 2).
