Robbie Williams tells One Direction to "stop getting caught" partying

Robbie Williams has offered some advice to One Direction - stop getting caught partying.

The British-Irish boyband were recently embroiled in a drugs row after two of their members were filmed apparently smoking a joint in a car.

Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson featured in a clip taken in Peru in April as the popstars relaxed between shows.

However, Williams joked to the Mirror that One Direction need to hide their activities a little better in the future.

He said: "I think they should stop getting caught! Drop a shoulder, give them a dummy, but just don't get caught. I didn't get caught until I was at least 22 - maybe 23!"

Williams himself battled drugs during his final days in Take That in the mid 1990s.
