Robbie Williams has confirmed plans to release a new album next week.

The singer told fans today (November 28) that he will release 'Under the Radar: Volume One' on Monday (December 1).

The record will compromise of songs that were previously recorded but never made it onto Williams' albums.

He added in a video message: "I'll let you into a secret, [producer and songwriter] Guy Chambers isn't happy with me putting these songs on this album. 

"He thinks I'm a lunatic for not putting them on an album that we've promoted with TV performances and at radio stations and a big tour. But I'm an impetuous bugger, and I want them out now, now, now!"

The album will feature the track 'Run It Wild', which didn't feature on his last album 'Take The Crown'.

The record meanwhile will go head to head with Take That's 'III' in the charts next week.
