Robbie Williams has poured cold water over speculation linking him to the X Factor.

The show recently announced that host Dermot O'Leary will not be returning for this year's series.

This prompted gossip about the future of the judging panel, with Louis Walsh reportedly set for the axe.

However, Williams said on Twitter at the weekend that he is too busy to sign on as a judge.

He said: "Re: X Factor rumours - I wouldn't put any money on this if I was you.

"I love X Factor but I'm busy this year...RW x."

Walsh is joined on the judging panel by Simon Cowell, Cheryl and Mel B.
