Robbie Williams has yet to see a full-length cucumber according to his wife, Ayda Field, the American actress.

Speaking on ITV's Loose Women today (May 25), she revealed that her husband has only ever seen them sliced.

She said: "The other day I pulled out a cucumber from the fridge and he asked me what it was. He said he didn't know because he only ever saw them sliced.

"He's only had them in salads when they've been sliced for him. He's not used to see them in full form."

Field explains this is due to his very early success which catapulted him into superstardom when he joined Take That at 15.

She explained:

"Rob - because he became famous at 15 - there's a certain level of stunting when you're learning all these life skills ... he doesn't know how to change a lightbulb."
