Robbie Williams "injures back" by jumping off recording studio roof

Robbie Williams recently injured his back jumping off the roof of a recording studio, according to the singer's blog.

In a post on his official website, Williams spoke about his role in the upcoming Soccer Aid event, which features a number of celebrities playing football in aid of charity.

However, he cast doubt on his fitness - and revealed that he had done his back in by jumping off a roof. He said:

"Soccer Aid's back on then! The list of people playing is very impressive...Hollywood-tastic...I'm watching you Michael Sheen! Your next role better be 'my left foot two' cos that's all you'll be able to play after I've finished with you...Having said that...I've got to fix my back. I jumped off the studio roof a week ago 'to see if I still could' evidently I can't...lesson learnt."
