Robbie Williams predicts Gary Barlow will be knighted

Robbie Williams has predicted that his Take That bandmate Gary Barlow will one day be knighted by the Queen.

Speaking to the Mirror, Williams said that Sir Gary Barlow is indeed a strong possibility and joked that Barlow will probably get one before he does himself.

Barlow has just helped pen a song for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, and Williams believes he's most definitely in Her Majesty's good books. He said:

"Gary Barlow's sailing straight to a knighthood. You can just tell, can't you? Well, at some point people have got to look at this and see what I've done and say, oh yeah. He's gonna get it. It'll be Sir Gaz before Sir Robbie. Subconsciously it's a bit of a competition."

Williams meanwhile has confirmed that he is going to be a father to a new daughter soon. Speaking about his partner's pregnancy, he said:

"It's a girl. I'm very, very excited about becoming a daddy. I can't wait. The missus is, like, 'Don't go telling' and I said 'I won't'."
