Robbie Williams announces new album

Robbie Williams has confirmed details of his next studio album release.

The Take That singer will unleash his ninth solo album 'Take The Crown' on November 5.

Williams revealed the news on his Facebook page early this morning (September 3), uploading an image of the album's cover too.

The artwork sees a picture of the 'Angels' star's head and shoulders covered in gold paint.

The album will be preceded by the single 'Candy' on October 29, which was co-written with Gary Barlow.

As previously reported, Williams recently announced a batch of intimate live shows around the UK as he returns to some of the venues he performed at during his first ever solo tour back in 1997.

He is due to hit Glasgow, Leeds and Southend in September, with another date planned for Dublin, Ireland.

The tracklisting for 'Take The Crown' meanwhile is as follows:
