Robbie Williams says he needs to tone down his language for fatherhood

Robbie Williams has admitted that he's going to have to clean out his mouth as he makes his first steps into fatherhood.

The singer's wife Ayda Field gave birth to Theodora Rose Williams on Tuesday (September 18), with mother, father and baby said to be doing well.

Speaking to BBC Radio 1, the 'Candy' man said that he will need to watch his language in the presence of his daughter. He admitted:

"I do have a potty mouth, I really do. I am going to have to curb it."

The Take That star added that because of his own unruly nature as a child, he probably won't be the strictest of parents. Williams said:

"It's going to be really difficult for her to get in trouble though with me. My cousin, who I used to get in trouble with when I was about 12 or 13, his kids are now that age and he gives them a right rollicking."
