Robbie Williams lost 24lbs for BRIT Awards

Robbie Williams has revealed that he shed an impressive 24lbs for the BRIT Awards.

The singing star performed his track 'Candy' at the London event last night (February 20), which was nominated in the British Single category.

However, Williams revealed on the red carpet that he lost 10.9kg in body weight ahead of the show in an effort to boost his figure. He said:

"No candy at the moment. I've given up sugar. 40 is around the corner... I've done 24lbs in five weeks."

The singer continued: "No dairy. No fun. No smiles. No laughter. Just horrendous."

Williams eventually lost out in the Single category at the BRITs, with Adele's 'Skyfall' theme reigning supreme.
