Holby City Star Jules Knight AKA Dr Harry Tressler Announces New Debut Album ‘Change of Heart’.

When Jules Knight joined Holby City he was cast as arrogant but capable Doctor Harry Tressler quickly becoming one of the hit show’s most popular characters. Affectionately dubbed ‘Dr Love’ by the British Public, the Holby City fans have intently followed the many dramatic story lines his character has been involved in. He became an integral member of the show, which regularly attracts over 5 million viewers per week.

With a dramatic storyline coming up which will see Dr Tressler as ‘unrecogniseable’ fans will be taken on an emotional rollercoaster, which will lead to Jules’ exit from the show in April. With the end storyline still not clear it is evident it will be a gripping couple of months viewing for Holby Fans.

Jules Comments:

“I've had a few fantastic years playing Dr Harry Tressler in Holby City and I will really miss all of the cast and crew there. It's been such a fascinating, wonderful experience.”

In between filming these scenes Jules has still found time to work on his debut solo album with chart topping Producer Andrew Powell (Wuthering Heights) and Film and TV boss, Adrian Munsey. The album, ‘Change of Heart’ is due for release April 20th 2015 and will be recorded at Peter Gabriel’s state of the art studio with some of the world’s finest musicians.

“I've managed to put together an incredible team of people to make this album, they are the best of the best and I can't wait to get into the studio next week. Producer Andrew Powell (Wuthering Heights) is a legend in the industry we hope to make some real magic with this album. It should appeal to a wide range of age groups:' there's really something for everyone.”

Jules is no stranger to musical success having first found fame with chart topping classical super group Blake. He made 4 hit albums with the band, with their debut album winning ‘Album Of The Year’ at the Classical Brits. Their extraordinary success saw them tour all over the world and they were a firm favourite with Royalty, performing several times for the Queen at Buckingham Palace.

‘Change of Heart’ will be Jules’s debut solo album. Fans will be delighted to see him return to his first love of music, which will see him release independently having turned down major label record offers. Wanting to have complete control over his solo career and artistic direction he comments:

“I feel incredibly lucky to have been offered a record deal which gives me artistic control over my musical career, and it now feels like the right time to record my debut album. I'm looking forward to an exciting and creative new chapter.”

The album will feature a hand picked selection of songs including a duet with Jules’s 12-year-old self, back when he was a chorister in the Winchester Cathedral Choir. As well as a hugely exciting track written by Gary Barlow and Sir Tim Rice, which is expected to be released as the first single.
