“Children smile when they sing,” comments Nina, “nothing gives children greater confidence than when they’re singing.  A child in song is a happy child.  That’s why I wanted to use this World Voice Day to give that gift of song back to our younger generation. I was delighted when my song was chosen as the anthem for World Voice Day and I wanted to share that experience with the children of the UK by making them part of it. I want children to use their voices to the max and have fun recording this anthem with me.”

With a No4 in the iTunes charts, music nominations both sides of the Atlantic and a highly established piano teacher/vocal coach, Nina knows just how compelling ‘song’ can be. This year, Nina enjoyed a world hit alongside Vintage & Morelli, reaching No1 in Europe and Top 20 in the US.  Plus, with nominations for Best Female Artist on both sides of the Atlantic*** and vocals alongside Emma Bunton on the national ad campaign for the Channel 5 ‘s ‘Don’t Stop Believing’, Nina Schofield is one of the UK’s hottest music talents for 2016.

*Nina Schofield:

Nina Schofield live appearances include the Montreux Jazz Festival (sharing the bill with the likes of The Black Eyed Peas, Jeff Beck, Gnarls Barkley and Lily Allen), an enviable dance-floor following with her featured vocals on Aurosonic & Frainbreeze’s ‘Lift You Up’ track and being head-hunted by Dutch pop/RnB super band, Romeo, to join them on their sell out come-back show.  Added to which, she co-wrote and co-worked with Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe winners and nominees with a striking list of names such as Morrisey’s Richard Niles, Gabrielle Aplin’s Tom Wilding, Usher’s Angelo Valentino and Orbital’s Lloyd Perrin.

Working with internationally renowned producers and writers such as Jud Friedman (Whitney Houston), Richard Niles (Kylie Minogue, Ray Charles), and Lloyd Perrin (Pixie Lott, Newton Faulkner) has helped sculpt Nina’s individual pop sound into something truly unique and the release of her new single ‘Restart’ is sure to place her firmly on the map of pop’s rising stars.
