Following web-smash of Sam Smith cover, which notched up over 100,000 hits within hours, Scottish singer/songwriter announces release of highly anticipated debut solo single

Jack Robertson – known to many as the heart-throb singer who created a web sensation with his cover of Sam Smith’s ‘Writing On The Wall’ – announces the release of his official debut solo single, ‘Set It Alight’ on July 15, under a signing with Universal Music.  An original co-penning by Jack and the EC2M production team, overseen by managers Julian Close and Ian Curnow, this debut track demonstrates Jack’s diversity as both singer and songwriter.  Garnering strong radio and TV support across the Scotland and high critical media acclaim (not to mention a snowballing fan-base of frenzied teens) demand for this talented artist is now at fever pitch.  Time for Scotland to export one of its hottest musical assets, as Jack Robertson bursts from the Scottish borders onto the world platform.
