K-SYRAN ANNOUNCES ANTHEM FOR WORLD HELLO DAY

International singer/songwriter turns saying 'hello' into a catchy pop vibe

‘Hello’, an addictive pop track that’s been bubbling in the Billboard Charts since August, has been named as the anthem for this year’s World Hello Day on 21 November.  Penned and performed by international singer/songwriter, K-Syran, ‘Hello’ is a vibrant message for us all to open-up to others on World Hello Day as a way of sharing peace around our planet.

To add to the celebrations, K-Syran will make ‘Hello’ available as a free phone download and she’s created special ‘Hellojis’ for fans to cut out and wear as ‘badges of greetings’ on the big day.  For more info visit:

World Hello Day is celebrated on 21 November every year and asks everyone taking part to say ‘hello’ to at least ten people on that day.  It was set up in 1973 as a way of getting world leaders to understand that we can communicate better with each other if we actually smile and talk, rather than waging war with each other.  Over the years, this happy day has been recognised by over 180 countries across our planet.  So far, thirty-one Nobel Peace Prize Winners have shown their support for World Hello Day because they understand that ‘talking’ is the only way that we can start to make peace in this world.  Anyone can take part, simply by going out of your way to say ‘hello’ to ten people on that day, we will be playing our part in communicating peace.

Taken from her current album, ‘Smoke In My Veins’, ‘Hello’ has been a hit on pop radio stations across the USA since August.  A cheeky pop vibe, with addictive melodic loops, ‘Hello’ first came to public attention when it was plucked from K-Syran’s latest album at the same time as Adele’s ‘Hello’ was released during the Autumn of 2015.  Since then, K-Syran’s ‘Hello’ has garnered enormous public attention as audiences demand it’s performance during live gigs.  K-Syran finally bowed to public demand with the release of ‘Hello’ in the USA, during this summer, which saw the track instantly climb it’s way up the Billboard charts.

The obvious link with World Hello Day had led to the track becoming the anthem for the big day, in a year where world peace is ever more important.
