Sarah Harding to appear on BBC celebrity gymnastics show

Sarah Harding has been confirmed as one of the contestants on a new BBC reality TV show.

The Girls Aloud star will compete in the celebrity gymnastics show Tumble, which will be hosted by One Show presenter Alex Jones.

Other famous names due to take part include Ian 'H' Watkins, Sugababe Amelle Berrabah and boxing champion Carl Froch.

The stars will train with experienced gymnasts before attempting challenges.

Harding commented: "I'm really looking forward, but also a little bit scared, about all the training I’ll be doing – but at least it beats going to the gym."

Rachel Ashdown, the BBC’s commissioning executive, added: “These celebrities are embarking on a gruelling training regime combining aerial and gymnastic skills. They’ll use them all to deliver breath-taking performances that you’d expect from the department that also produces Strictly Come Dancing."
