Mollie King says she's not ready for The Saturdays to end

Mollie King says she isn't keen on The Saturdays ending.

The girl group are currently taking time out after recently celebrating their career with a greatest hits album and tour.

Speaking in the upcoming new issue of Notion magazine, King said that she wants the band to at least embark on another tour.

The Brit said: "I'd be lying if I said I was ready for the band to end.

"We'll get back in the studio at some point. I'd really like us all to do another tour together."

Talking meanwhile about her career achievements, King said:

"You aim to be the best. You don’t wake up thinking, ‘I want to be a one hit wonder’. You wake up thinking that you want to sell out stadiums and do a world tour.”

"I’ve wanted to do this since I was six years old. If there’s a day when I can’t be bothered to get up I just remind myself that the six-year-old would be dying to do this.

"And the day this gets boring is the day you should stop. Everyone can tell when you’re bored or sick. I’m hungry to do more, all the time. If I wake up and I’m over it, I’ll stop.”
