The Saturdays confirm E! reality TV show 'Chasing The Saturdays'

After months of speculation, it has finally been confirmed that UK girl group The Saturdays have landed their very own E! reality television series, named 'Chasing The Saturdays'.

A post on E! Online revealed details on the series, which is due to begin on January 20, and member Rochelle Humes explained in a statement that The Saturdays have achieved their full potential in their home country so decided to expand their horizons by heading stateside:

"At home back in the UK, we've sort of done what we can do for now. We've had 13 singles, four albums, three tours. We didn't want to leave home until we felt like we sort of put our mark on the UK."

Humes also took to her official Twitter page this afternoon (October 29) and shared a photograph of herself at E!'s offices, which she accompanied with the exciting caption: "My 100 pic on here! What better one to upload! It's official!! @eonline here we come! Jan 2013"

A press release on their official website says: "Premiering at 10 p.m. Jan. 20 in the US, only on E! (a UK premiere date is currently in the works) each 30-minute episode of ‘Chasing The Saturdays’ will be filled with music, laughs, drama, glamour and fun as we navigate our way through the world of U.S. pop culture."

"From signing with renowned music label Mercury/Island Def Jam Records, working on our debut US album and promoting our latest single – ‘What About Us’ – to settling into a new and vibrant city, and dealing with husbands and lovers back in the UK."
