The Saturdays' Frankie Sandford ponders arrest

The Saturdays' Frankie Sandford has joked she should probably "put more work" into being "drunk and disorderly" for a more interesting life.

The brunette beauty is currently pregnant with her first child with fiancé footballer Wayne Bridge.

Sandford has joked that she's never been a wild child, but insists she could be less well behaved if she put her mind to it.

She quipped: ''I wish I was interesting enough to say I'd been arrested. Maybe I need to put more work into being drunk and disorderly; at least you get a good night out of it.

Sandford added: "Some people are so rude when we're out and I've never punched anyone, so maybe that's what I should do. People just want to take the p**s out of you in public to make them look bigger in front of their friends. Whatever happened to manners?''

The Saturdays - also comprising Mollie King, Rochelle Wiseman, Una Healy and Vanessa White - recently landed their first UK number one single, 'What About Us'.

Sandford thinks it will be a long time before the girl group top the charts again.

When asked how long she thinks the next number one single will take to materalise, she explained to Q magazine: ''I'll probably be 100 at that point.''

Writing on social networking site Twitter on Thursday (May 2) Sandford confirmed that she is pregnant: "Some big news from me today! Wayne and I are having a baby. We are both SO happy and can't wait for his or hers arrival! (sic)."

She later posted a picture surrounded by her bandmates showing off her tiny baby bump.
