Rochelle Humes believes her first baby is a "blessing".

The singer gave birth to daughter Alaia-Mai on Monday (May 20) as she starts to build a family with husband Marvin Humes.

Speaking on Twitter today (May 27), the 'What About Us' star reflected on her first week as a parent, revealing that she is overjoyed at her baby so far. Humes said:

"What a gorgeous sunny day. Our princess is a week old today. Wow. Such a blessing. Happy bank holiday everyone love the Humes' xx."

As previously reported, husband Marvin recently uploaded a photo of himself holding his daughter on Instagram.

The image saw the JLS star showcase a look of glee as he begins life as a father.
