Canadian sensation Shawn Mendes has thanked his fans for being so supportive of his dreams. 

The talented young musician took to his official Twitter page earlier today (May 10) and explained that he has been enjoying the past couple of weeks and really appreciates the encouragement and praise he receives from his followers:

"Last few weeks have been some of the most fun times of my life, thank you so much Europe. NOW USA!! Thank you guys for allowing me to shoot for the stars. I'm so, so lucky."

During a new chat with Capital FM, he described his ideal woman and said that he would like to find a brunette girl to date: "Well to be honest, I'd like a brunette dancer, but now I've just said that, I'm worried they'll all come after me and the blondes will be annoyed!"
