Shawn Mendes is 'aggressively excited' about what the future holds

Canadian sensation Shawn Mendes has revealed that he is incredibly excited for the future.

The heartthrob took to his official Twitter page and told his fans that if he thinks about the next step in his career, he gets overwhelmed: "Feeling really excited for the future. So much is coming, i cant even think about it for too long. I get aggressively excited."

Earlier this month, he told ET Canada that the new material he has been working on gives him "goosebumps": "I'm so excited about it, even the next couple of singles coming up, I get goosebumps just thinking about it and, like, where the future's headed. As an artist and a creator of music, I'm very proud of my work. I'm very picky."

In April, the talented young musician opened up about his forthcoming release schedule: "After we finish in Europe, we’re going to head to America to do the big American tour, and then release a new single and the new album in September."
