Canadian sensation Shawn Mendes has partnered with Do Something once again for his popular Notes From Shawn initiative.

The organisation shared the following message on social media earlier today (July 15): "SO excited that #NotesFromShawn is BACK! #SpreadJoy with us and @ShawnMendes!"

The website explains the aim of the project, which helps individuals suffering from low-self esteem and thoughts of or acting upon urges to self-harm:

"Receiving positive messages can improve self-esteem and decrease thoughts of self-harm. Let's do this! Shawn Mendes is on a world tour and a mission to spread positivity and joy around the globe. Join him! Do your part by secretly posting encouraging notes that will give self-esteem boosts to everyone who sees them!"
