Canadian sensation Shawn Mendes has revealed that he always tries to enjoy what he's doing even if it means putting a spin on things for the sake of finding something to appreciate. 

Chatting to the Huffington Post about how he makes himself happy, the 'Treat You Better' star admitted that managing to find joy in everything he does means a lot to him:

“No matter what, I’m trying to have fun and, depending on the mood, fun can be on a roller coaster and playing onstage, or fun can be sitting in a room with three of your best friends talking for two hours."

He went onto add that using his voice and platform to spread positivity is something he feels strongly about:

“It’s extremely important just to keep things positive and happy as much as we can ... I think it’s important that singers, actors or whatever use our voice to spread positive messages as much as we possibly can,”
