Nashville based singer/songwriter Sonia Leigh is about to shake up the Country music scene. Having garnered a wealth of experience since her relocation to Country music’s capital city aged just 17, Leigh is ready to redefine the genre. Leigh brings a fresh, progressive sound to the table. Her relentless spirit is felt in every inflection of her unmistakable drawl. Having spent the formative years of her career as an independent artist, Leigh’s strength as a songwriter saw her catch the eye of the Grammy Award winning Zac Brown Band, who invited her out on the road. A meeting of the musically minded prompted the unforgettable co-writes, ‘Goodbye in Her Eyes’ and ‘Sweet Annie’, both of which topped the US Country Airplay charts.
 
With Leigh in demand as a co-writer, she continues to focus on her own musical output. Having released her last EP ‘Counting Skeletons’ in 2014, Leigh has been impressing audiences around the world with her new striking, genre-defying anthems. Having already scored radio hits Stateside with the summery ‘Put It In Your Pocket’ and the emotionally charged ‘When We Are Alone’, Leigh demonstrates that she is an artist unafraid to wear her heart on her sleeve or to push the boundaries of creativity.
 
Sonia Leigh's music is a melting pot of indie, pop, and country rock. Though her universally appealing style defies simple genre categorization, it is familiar enough to pull you in and make you want to hear more. Leigh's live performance is incomparable.
