Following the fantastic online buzz their recent demos received, Brighton'sIYES release their melodically perfect debut single 'Til Infinity via brand new record label Duly Noted Records on December 2, 2013. 

The immensely talented, young indie-electronic duo comprises producer and singer Josh Christopher (UK) and singer Melis Soyaslanova (Czech Republic). Despite forming only late last year, the pair have won over fans and media with every show and every demo uploaded. To date, they have enjoyed incredible coverage online from multiple blogs, including Pitchfork and The Line Of Best Fit, and been championed by key tastemakers from radio on the likes of Xfm and the BBC. 

'Til Infinity, marks almost a year to the day since Josh and Melis met. Tribal drums, handclaps and haunting harmonies back Melis’s sinuous vocals; the chorus explodes in to dub; listen closely and you can hear a heartbeat. It’s a seductive, sensuous song about finding strength within a relationship, about overcoming insecurities and doubt to put all of your trust in someone else. It could refer to a love affair, or IYES becoming a band. It was inspired – sort of – by watching terrible TV. Or possibly Vietnamese prawn soup. 

“We were up late one night, something bad like Big Brother was on the TV and we were eating this amazing take-out soup,” recalls Melis. “Suddenly, Josh starts drumming on the sofa. That was the beginning of 'Til Infinity. Once we had the rhythm, the rest of the song seemed to fall in to place. It’s probably our favourite song we’ve ever written, but it wasn’t one we planned. But in case it was the prawn soup that inspired, Josh is learning to make it himself.” 

The track will be the first quarterly release on Duly Noted Records.
