Ahead of their upcoming London show this week, Rainer share a Summer Ghost remix of their album standout track ‘Nocturn’, taken from their debut album ‘Water’, which is out now. The left-field pop duo will be playing a headline show at The Old Blue Last on July 30th.

Bergamo-based Summer Ghost rework Rainer’s seductive pop sounds & shift them to a darker setting with their take on ‘Nocturn’. Austere synths & enigmatic electronic melodies kick in, only heightening Rainer’s already captivating sound.

Rainer is made up of Rebekah Raa and Nic Nell (aka London-based producer Casually Here). The duo formed in 2012 after meeting through mutual friends and shared late nights. Their friendship & musical kinship developed over a love of dark sounds and striking production.

Following the release of their debut EP Hope/Satin/Glass/Dreams at the end of 2013, which garnered an array of attention, the band went on to release their debut album ‘Water’ earlier this year, allowed them to broaden their twisted electronic framework & progress their experimental pop sensibilities.
