Jade Ewen denies rumours that she is leaving Sugababes
For the last 24 hours, rumours have been circulating that Jade Ewen was leaving Sugababes but the singer has now said that they are not true.
Ewen joined the band in 2009, taking the place of founding Sugababe Keisha Buchanan.
The 23-year-old, who represented the UK in 2009's Eurovision Song Contest, has reassured fans through Twitter that she is definitely not leaving the girl group:
"Wow! So who started this rumour guys?? The only place this Sugababe is going is to the studio with the girls to work on our new album!"
The current line-up consists of Heidi Range, who joined the group in 2001; Amelle Berrabah, who joined the group in 2005 and Ewen.
The trio, whose single 'Freedom' will be released on September 25, have recently commented on the difficulties they faced as a group due to the high turnover of band members.
