Susan Boyle is touched by the lyrics to Depeche Mode's 'Enjoy The Silence'

Susan Boyle announced that she has covered Depeche Mode's 'Enjoy The Silence' on her forthcoming album, 'Someone To Watch Over Me' but she has since revealed how the lyrics make her feel.

The song was originally released in 1990 and the lines "Words are very unnecessary/ They can only do harm" have struck a chord with the Scottish singer.

She told The Rolling Stone that those lyrics spoke to her:

"The melody of the song is just beautiful but really that lyric sounds like it will touch so many people in the way it touched me."

'Someone To Watch Over Me' is to be released on November 1 and it will include covers of Joni Mitchell's 'Both Sides Now' and Tears For Fears' 'Mad World'.
