Take That admit they questioned their future over last year

Take That have said there were points over the last year where they were unsure if they should continue as a band.

The group recently confirmed that they would carry on as a three-piece after the departure of Jason Orange in September.

The Brits are due to release their new album 'III' on December 1, but Mark Owen told the Metro that the last year was uncertain for the group.

He said: "I think we've all, during this last year for many different reasons, hit places where we went, 'Are we doing the right thing? Is this the right thing for us to do as a band?'. So there has been lots going on around us. But making a record is kind of our comfort zone we've known since 17 and 18 years old. That's the bit where we can go, 'I know what I am doing here'."

Owen added that Take That would need years of notice if they were going to call it a day:

"It would be too much of a shock to our system if it happened now. We need to give ourselves at least three or five years' notice to prepare. We need to wind down and do it properly. It can't be a quick cut off."
