Take That battle Band Aid in midweek UK singles chart

Take That are locked in a fight with Band Aid 30 for this week's UK No.1 single.

The pop trio released their latest effort 'These Days' recently and the Official Charts Company have confirmed today (November 26) that it is No.2.

It is 1,500 copies behind the previous No.1, Band Aid's latest 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' charity effort.

At No.3 on the midweek update meanwhile is Olly Murs' Travie McCoy collaboration 'Wrapped Up'.

Following at No.4 is Labrinth's new entry 'Jealous', with McBusted's fellow newbie 'Air Guitar' rounding off the top five.

James Bay meanwhile is set to achieve is first top 20 single with 'Hold Back With The River', which rests at No.13.
