Take That's 'III' leading midweek UK albums chart

Take That are on course to land their sixth consecutive UK No.1 album.

The British trio unleashed their latest record 'III' on Monday (December 1) and it is selling well.

The Official Charts Company confirmed today (December 3) in their midweek update that the collection has shifted 96,000 copies so far this week to place it at No.1.

At No.2 on the midweek update meanwhile is AC/DC's new effort 'Rock or Bust', whilst Ed Sheeran's now million-selling 'x' is at No.3.

Following on the chart is One Direction's 'FOUR', whilst Sam Smith's 'In The Lonely Hour' rounds off the top five.

McBusted are No.6 with their self-titled debut record, whilst Ella Henderson jumps from No.26 to No.10 with 'Chapter One' following her X Factor performance at the weekend.

The Vamps meanwhile are No.12 with their re-release of 'Meet The Vamps'.
