Take That star Howard Donald has married his partner Katie Halil.

It had been reported this morning (January 6) that the singer tied the knot on Friday (January 2).

The news has now been confirmed by Donald's bandmate Gary Barlow on Twitter.

He wrote: "Congratulations @HowardDonald and @whatkatiedrew gorgeous couple xx."

A rep for Donald added to the Daily Mail: "I can confirm Howard Donald and Katie Halil were married at a private ceremony for close family and friends on January 2."

Take That meanwhile released their latest album 'III' in December.
