Take That are the latest act to join the Brit Awards line-up.

The awards ceremony is taking place on February 25 at London's O2 Arena.

It was confirmed today (January 19) that English trio Take That are the seventh act to be added to the event's bill.

They join the already announced Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Paloma Faith, Royal Blood and George Ezra.

The show will be Take That's sixth performance at the Brits to date.

They have also won eight Brit Awards since forming in 1990.
