Take That have stated that they will start work on new music soon.

The trio released their last album 'III' in December, but it seems their songwriting wheels are already back in motion.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Gary Barlow said that the group are currently enjoying a wave of inspiration.

He said: "We're inspired and ambitious at the moment.

"It feels like a new challenge and a new chapter for us, so I'd say it wouldn't be too long before some new music."

Take That are currently a three-piece for the first time following the departure of Jason Orange last year.

The band meanwhile will perform at the Brit Awards in London on February 25.
