Take That have announced a show at London's Hyde Park.

The pop trio will headline a Barclaycard British Summer Time event at the venue on July 9.

Tickets will go on general sale from 9am UK time on Friday (November 13).

Take That are the first act confirmed for next year's Barclaycard British Summer Time gig series.

The event takes over London's Hyde Park for ten days with a mix of music and entertainment.

Last year's series of shows saw the likes of Taylor Swift and Kylie Minogue perform live.

Take That are still promoting their 2014 record 'III' - their first album as a trio.

Singer Jason Orange departed the group in September 2014 after losing his desire to remain in the band.

The group are releasing a repackaged version of 'III' on November 20, with new single 'Hey Boy' included.
