Demand for Take That’s 2011 summer tour is greater than that for Michael Jackson, according to Ticketmaster.

The site is one of a number of official agencies which crashed this morning due to the unprecedented traffic the tickets attracted.

In a statement Ticketmaster reported that the demand was “at least twice that of Michael Jackson” last year.

It will be the first Take Tour in 16 years to feature all the original members.

The dates are as follows:

• Sunderland, Stadium Of Light – May 30
• Manchester, City Of Manchester Stadium – June 3/4/5/7
• Cardiff, Millennium Stadium – June 14
• Dublin, Croke Park – June 18
• Glasgow, Hampden Park – June 22/23
• Birmingham, Villa Park – June 27
• London, Wembley Stadium – July 1/2/3/5
