British band Take That treat fans to 'Greatest Day' (night)

Take That came together for a one-off TV special on ITV last night (April 8), for a memorable evening of music, questions and fun with their loyal and much loved fans.

The legendary British male band, which currently consists of Gary BarlowHoward Donald and Mark Owen, performed a medley of some of their most popular career-spanning hits, which included: 'Wonderland', 'Greatest Day', 'Shine', 'A Million Love Songs' and 'These Days', all to a colourful Wonderland-themed backdrop.

The fans were clearly over the moon to see their idols once again in action. Those at home tweeted about their excitement, which got others even more excited about going to see the lads on tour.

Back in January, frontman Gary Barlow said:

"I don't think there's ever going to be an announcement that says, 'Take That is finished', I really don't. I just think it may be different. It may be four. It may be three, it may be five. I think it's always going to be changing, that bit."

The band are set to head out on their Wonderland tour this May. It kicks off in Birmingham at the Genting Arena on May 5 and 6, then moves on to:

  • May 8/9 - Newcastle Metro Radio Arena
