Country-pop crossover star Taylor Swift has revealed that she had a fantastic day today (March 13) as not only did she get to meet one of her heroes, but she also got to cook alongside her. 

The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' beauty posted a snapshot of herself with Food Network's Ina Garten, known for her 'Barefoot Contessa' cooking show, and captioned it with the following explanation:

"A day of cooking in the Hamptons with my HERO. How bad can that be? inagarten @foodnetwork_mag."

Last year, Swift posted a photograph of herself making cookies with Kelly Osbourne, who later admitted that she was impressed with the singer's kitchen abilities: "You guys have no idea how good Taylor is at cooking!"

Swift has also been named Billboard's highest earning music star of the past twelve months and the magazine confirmed that she has earned $39,699,576 (£23,874,370) over the last year.
