Taylor Swift on song 'Bad Blood': 'I'd wonder if we were friends or if she was just insulting me'

Superstar Taylor Swift recently unveiled details about her brand new forthcoming album, '1989', and has now revealed that there's a song on the tracklisting about a rocky and uncertain relationship she has with another singer in the industry.

She opened up about a track entitled 'Bad Blood' on her new album and confessed that it's about tension between her and another female artist, and the struggle to try and brush it off:

"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not."

"She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'"

While Swift was cautious not to name names, she did add that the person in question did something to deeply hurt her: "She did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me."

She concluded: "And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational - you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it."
