Taylor Swift: 'I don't Instagram pictures of myself for people to think I'm sexy'

Taylor Swift says she isn't one for sexy Instagram selfies.

The singer uses the photo sharing network to connect with her fans, but it seems she isn't going to follow the trend of posing for the camera in order to be pretty.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, the US star said that her desire to stay respectful extends to real life as well.

"I don't Instagram pictures of myself for people to be like 'Wow, that looks really sexy'. I take pictures of cute kittens, or when the ocean looks nice, or of a funny sign I saw in an airport."

Speaking about her style, Swift added: "I like a more classic look. I always go back to Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly. Red lipstick and a winged eyeliner - I think that looks nice."

The 'Red' star also opened up about the pitfalls of being paparazzi fodder, saying:

"You just make sure your skirt is down, and you make sure you don't give them a terrible eating shot. I'm incapable of telling when food is on my face. It's like I don't have nerves in my skin. So if I get, like, a heinous piece of chocolate on my face, please let me know. I won't be offended."
