Taylor Swift on New York move: 'I didn't feel bold or brave enough to make it there'

Country-pop starlet Taylor Swift has opened up about her bold decision to move to New York City and confessed that for the longest time she thought she wouldn't be able to make it there because it's so different to what she has been used to.

Speaking to the Rolling Stone about moving to the Big Apple, the 'Shake It Off' beauty admitted that it was incredibly daunting and she was worried about how she would handle such an immense change:

"I was so intimidated by this city for so long. It's so big, with so many people. I thought I would never be able to make it here, because I wasn't something enough — bold enough, brave enough to take on this huge city in all of its blaring honesty. And then at a certain point I just thought, 'I'm ready.'"

In the same interview, she admitted that she's not afraid to walk around the city and people don't intimidate her: "I'm totally cool with human interaction. I'm not scared of strangers. I don't walk around with bags over my head."
