Taylor Swift has lavished praise on Labrinth after he covered one of her songs.

The Brit covered the US star's song 'Shake It Off' last week for BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge series.

It saw the 'Let It Be' man mix things up with an altered arrangement and different styles.

The cover seems to have impressed Swift, who posted on Twitter on Tuesday (September 23):

"OUTSTANDING COVER ALERT. I am so obsessed with Labrinth's version of Shake It Off. Unreal."

This prompted Labrinth into replying: "Cheers babe, I really enjoyed doing it! We should hit the studio sometime."

The Brit meanwhile is due to release his new single 'Let It Be' on September 28.
