Taylor Swift on 'Out of the Woods': 'It's about that frantic feeling of anxiety that comes with relationships'

Superstar Taylor Swift is gearing up to debut her brand new song 'Out of the Woods' and opened up about what it means to her in a new interview.

Speaking to ABC News about 'Out of the Woods', Swift explained that the song is about the all-encompassing nature of relationships and it “stresses that even if a relationship is breakable and fragile and full of anxiety, it doesn’t mean that it isn’t worthwhile, exciting, beautiful, and all the things that we look for."

She went onto add that emotions such as these conjure up “extreme anxiety and, kind of, a frantic feeling of wondering and endless questions" and confessed that she wanted to embody that with the cut: "This song sounds exactly like that frantic feeling of anxiety and questioning.”

She will upload 'Out of the Woods' to the iTunes Store tomorrow (October 14) and treated fans to a short clip from it earlier today during the broadcast. Before the weekend, the beauty clarified that this release is not her next single and tweeted: "To clarify, what is coming in the next few days is a new song that I think best represents #1989. It is NOT my next single. #ShakeItOff."
